One of my strengths as a product designer is experience developing code from Figma mockups. In developing web platforms for the United Nations Global Compact, I have needed to create a web-based design system in CSS, integrated with UN brand guidelines and common web accessibility standards such as WCAG.
As the UNGC expands its digital presence through satellite initiatives, a simple and flexible design system is needed to translate its core brand language into new features and group identities.
